Eli Ber is a Philadelphia-area filmmaker, musician, and visual artist — the person behind Gifted Obsession. He wrote, directed, edited, and financed his first film, Citrus Rush, while living out of his car for a month — a stretch that ended with a break-in that wiped the near-final cut and forced him to rebuild the entire film from nothing.
He got his start young — making gaming videos and stupid skits on a jailbroken iPod Touch at 9, then getting featured in a Markiplier charity stream at 16. Eli has been creating for as long as he can remember, and Gifted Obsession is dedicated to the creatives who know what the 3am grind actually looks like: the ones surviving while their soul just wants to create, the ones with infinite stories and no clear path to tell them.
Everything under Gifted Obsession — the shows, the music, the clothes, OBSY — comes from the same place: an obsession he stopped trying to manage and started building a life around.
Some of this is live. Most of it isn't yet — locked until it's ready, unlocking one tile at a time as the plan executes.
